Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
• Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent
• Prior experience performing general ultrasound studies, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts examinations
• Proficient in operating modern ultrasound equipment and managing digital imaging systems
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ultrasound imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring clarity and diagnostic value
• Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures clearly and maintaining patient comfort
• Assess images for quality and completeness, adjusting techniques as necessary
• Accurately document procedures and maintain equipment in good working condition
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to review results and coordinate patient care
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and privacy policies
