Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a professional healthcare environment. This contract role offers a consistent schedule and the chance to make a positive impact on patient care.

Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
  • 1st shift hours
  • Includes some weekday shifts and every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in general ultrasound procedures
  • Registered or registry-eligible as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
  • Current certification in ARDMS or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of patient safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clinical staff and patients
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and deliver compassionate care

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound studies, producing clear and accurate diagnostic images
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for case reviews or clarification
  • Accurately document and manage patient records and images in accordance with facility protocols
  • Observe all infection control and safety guidelines throughout procedures
  • Assist with other imaging or departmental tasks as required
