Ultrasonographer Tech - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Step into a dynamic imaging environment and deliver exceptional patient care as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with expertise in breast imaging. This 12-week contract position, with the possibility of extension, offers the opportunity to use your ARDMS (Breast) credential in a collaborative healthcare setting where your knowledge and initiative will be highly valued.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
• Third Saturday of each month, 8:00am–12:00pm
• No on-call required

Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS certification with specialization in breast imaging (ARDMS-BR)
• Proven clinical experience in general ultrasound and breast sonography
• Strong ability to perform and assess a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both patient care and team collaboration
• Eligibility requirement: Applicants must not reside permanently in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive general and breast ultrasound imaging, ensuring high diagnostic quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to facilitate accurate and timely diagnosis
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines
• Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process, addressing questions or concerns with compassion and clarity
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols within the imaging department

$2,554 - $2,693/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
