Embark on a rewarding opportunity utilizing your expertise in general ultrasound imaging as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer. This contract position offers the chance to work within a collaborative healthcare environment while providing exceptional diagnostic services to a diverse patient population.

Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
  • 1st shift coverage
  • Some weekdays and every other weekend required

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification or equivalent in General Ultrasound
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year’s recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound procedures and protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of care

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality imaging results
  • Accurately document and report findings to interpreting physicians
  • Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing inquiries
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, medical staff, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain strict patient privacy and adhere to facility safety protocols
