As a travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer, you’ll play a critical role in patient diagnostics across diverse departments, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary care teams. This assignment will allow you to refine your imaging expertise, learn regional practice variations, and adapt to new challenges, promoting flexibility and growth.
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in general ultrasound imaging
- Proficiency in sonography equipment operations and protocols
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Current BLS certification
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to new environments
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and review patient histories and physician’s notes, ensuring optimal imaging quality
- Perform general ultrasound scans, including abdominal, pelvic, and small parts studies
- Work collaboratively with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
