Take your ultrasound expertise to the next level by delivering quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment performing general ultrasound studies for a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Weekend nights
Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credential
- At least 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of general ultrasound protocols and anatomy
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and comprehensive imaging studies using ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely reports and results
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures
- Maintain equipment and report any concerns or malfunctions
- Accurately document findings in the electronic medical record system
- Uphold high standards of infection control and technical quality
