Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Weekend nights
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound/sonography
- Comprehensive knowledge of General Ultrasound procedures and outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong attention to accuracy, safety, and patient comfort
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic general ultrasound studies based on physician orders
- Explain procedures and ease patient concerns before, during, and after scans
- Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Collect and document patient histories, technical findings, and images in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for best patient outcomes
- Ensure all protocols, infection control, and privacy standards are consistently followed
- Assist with workflow efficiency and support colleagues as needed during weekend night shifts
