A skilled ultrasound professional is needed to deliver high-quality imaging services on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ultrasound procedures and a commitment to patient care. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped environment alongside dedicated healthcare professionals.

Schedule/Hours

  • Four 10-hour night shifts
  • Monday through Thursday
  • 7:30 pm – 6:00 am
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications

  • Current and valid BLS certification
  • Registered with ARDMS
  • Proven experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
  • Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with clinical teams
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality general ultrasound studies in accordance with clinical protocols and physician orders
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy at all times
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document findings in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety
  • Adhere to all departmental, hospital, and regulatory safety standards and infection control policies
