Play a vital role in patient care by utilizing your expertise in general ultrasound imaging. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative medical team, providing high-quality diagnostic services and compassionate care to patients.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques and operation of related equipment
  • Experience performing and interpreting diagnostic ultrasound procedures
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication abilities for working with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and patient safety protocols

Schedule/Hours:

  • Consistent schedule, with shifts to be discussed during the interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Analyze images for diagnostic quality and assist radiologists with interpretation as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient and imaging records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure equipment is checked and maintained for optimal performance
  • Provide clear explanations and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
  • Follow all infection control and privacy guidelines to protect patient health and information
