Qualifications and Experience:

  • Successful completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current ARDMS or equivalent certification required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
  • Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer highly preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and provide accurate imaging under varying conditions
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Schedule:

  • Contract position with fixed or variable shifts depending on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations, utilizing the latest technology and adhering to clinical protocols
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate image interpretation and patient assessment
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the imaging area
  • Monitor imaging equipment functionality and promptly report any issues
  • Adhere to patient privacy regulations and best practices in healthcare safety

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
