Necessary qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Proficiency in general imaging and ultrasound techniques
- Prior experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a clinical setting
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid BLS certification
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform general ultrasound studies and assist with diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and appropriate documentation
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal function
- Adhere to all safety and infection control standards
- Provide compassionate patient care and maintain patient confidentiality
