Contribute your expertise in ultrasound imaging and patient care in a dynamic clinical environment on a 13-week contract assignment. This role calls for an experienced professional who is skilled in general ultrasound procedures and is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour night shifts per week
- Hours: 7:30pm – 6:00am, Monday through Thursday
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience performing general ultrasound studies
- Proficient with contemporary ultrasound technology and patient safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative care setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations as ordered, ensuring accurate imaging and documentation
- Position patients and maintain optimal image quality while considering patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to communicate findings and support diagnostic decisions
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, following facility protocols and industry standards
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures and results in the electronic medical record system
- Demonstrate compassionate care and effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds
