Travel Ultrasound Tech - Hollywood, Florida

This opportunity seeks an experienced Ultrasound General Technologist with advanced skills in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound imaging. The role involves critical thinking, decisive judgment, and effective communication to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a fast-paced, complex clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient requisitions and indications to determine the appropriate ultrasound exam.
• Collaborate with medical staff and MFM physicians to clarify and ensure accurate imaging protocols.
• Perform detailed fetal anatomy assessments across all trimesters and identify abnormalities.
• Conduct Doppler ultrasounds including umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, and ductus venosus with understanding of their clinical indications.
• Evaluate multiple gestations, including chronicity and amnionicity.
• Perform diagnostic transvaginal ultrasounds and assist with 3D imaging interpretation.
• Provide guidance during diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS).
• Maintain current knowledge of ultrasound techniques through continuous medical education.
• Travel reliably between clinic sites as needed and adapt to variable shifts.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proficient in ultrasound imaging with strong grasp of fetal anatomy.
• Experience performing Doppler studies and diagnostic transvaginal scans.
• Familiarity with 3D imaging techniques is a plus.
• Skilled in use of Voluson Expert 22 BT24 USA ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliable transportation for travel between sites.
