Ultrasonographer Tech - Hollywood, Florida

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to provide high-quality imaging services at a healthcare facility on a 13-week contract. This role focuses on delivering accurate diagnostic ultrasound exams in a dynamic, patient-focused setting.

Schedule Options:

• Five 8-hour shifts: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Four 10-hour shifts (Wednesday off): Shift starts at 6:00 am or 7:00 am

Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS certification required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
• Proficiency in a variety of ultrasound procedures and modalities
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ultrasound imaging studies as ordered by providers
• Obtain and review patient history pertinent to the imaging study
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during each procedure
• Accurately document procedures and maintain high standards for image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals for timely interpretation and care coordination
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Follow all relevant protocols, infection control standards, and facility guidelines

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
