This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated ultrasound technologist to perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures, predominantly during nights.
Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Night shift: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
- On-call requirements: 3–7 consecutive call shifts every 8th week; weekend call for backup or tech call outs (Saturday/Sunday, 24 hours as needed)
- 75% holiday coverage is required
- No travel between departments or floating
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in General Ultrasound procedures
- Registered or registry-eligible Sonographer credentials (ARDMS, ARRT, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and a variety of ultrasound techniques
- Strong attention to detail in image acquisition and patient documentation
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle on-call responsibilities according to contract
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both patients and healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound scans, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and established standards
- Accurately document patient information and examination results in electronic medical records
- Respond effectively to overnight call-ins, including weekends when scheduled
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; report technical issues promptly
- Ensure a patient-centered approach, providing comfort and information throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians regarding findings and care planning

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
