This contract position calls for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) with experience in general imaging, ready to provide exceptional patient care using the latest ultrasound technology.

Schedule/Hours:

• Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating shifts (total of 36 hours per week)
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Weekend rotation details will be discussed during the final interview, depending on immediate facility needs
• Applicants will be expected to work approximately 75% of assigned holidays

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent certification required
• Minimum of one year’s experience in general ultrasound imaging preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to float as needed; night shift sonographer may travel between Ballantyne FSED and Providence FSED facilities
• Excellent communication, flexibility, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver efficient patient care
• Prepare and position patients appropriately, providing education and comfort throughout exams
• Accurately document procedures and observations in patient records
• Support patient flow and adapt to changing assignments across different locations as required

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
