Deliver exceptional care and technical expertise as a skilled Ultrasound Technologist on a night shift assignment. This role focuses on providing high-quality ED general ultrasound services, supporting a dynamic, newly opened facility equipped with the latest technology and a team-first approach. The department averages 45 emergency visits and 5 imaging studies per day, ensuring varied and meaningful patient interactions.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Work every weekend
  • On-call 2 nights per month, with flexibility to select your preferred nights
  • Expected to work 75% of holidays
  • No floating requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ultrasound/sonography, preferably in an emergency setting
  • Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or ARRT (S)
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Comfortable with general ED ultrasound imaging and willingness to perform:
    • Basic vital signs
    • Patient sitting (psych support)
    • EKGs (training provided)
  • Team player willing to assist with transporting patients or helping other modalities when radiology volume allows
  • Prior experience with EPIC EMR and Philips iSite PACS preferred
  • Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles away from the unit
