Take on an important role as an Ultrasound Technologist with a focus on general imaging. This contract opportunity starts 4/21/2025 and offers a consistent, full-time schedule with no weekends or on-call shifts required. You’ll play a key part in diagnostic healthcare, using advanced ultrasound technology to provide essential patient imaging services in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
- 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
- Full-time with three consecutive shifts per week
- No weekend or on-call coverage required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant ultrasound scanning experience preferred
- Proficiency with basic computer operations required
- Current certification required from one of the following:
- Sonography (S) by ARRT
- Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
- Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
- Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
- Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
- Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
- Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
- DMS by MIRTP NMED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
- State licensure required, if working in New Mexico
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of ultrasound imaging procedures according to best practices and physician directives
- Maintain patient safety and imaging quality standards
- Accurately document and communicate scan results to the healthcare team
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and ready for use at all times
