Ultrasonographer Tech | Johnson City, New York

Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide expert ultrasound services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position begins 4/21/2025, offering full-time hours with a consistent workweek and no on-call or weekend obligations, allowing for excellent work-life balance.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Proficient in basic computer use
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Possess one of the following certifications or registries:
  • Sonography (S) by ARRT
  • Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
  • Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • State licensure, as applicable
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED (if required)

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality imaging procedures including general, vascular, breast, abdomen, OB/GYN, and echocardiography exams, as credentialed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Document and manage patient records with attention to detail and privacy regulations
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow all safety and infection control protocols
• Deliver compassionate, professional care and clear communication to patients throughout procedures
