Ultrasonographer in Johnson City, NY

Step into a dynamic environment as an experienced ultrasound professional, providing critical diagnostic services and compassionate patient care. This full-time opportunity specializes in both general imaging and advanced ultrasound procedures. The contract assignment will begin on April 21, 2025.

Schedule:

• 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
• No weekend or on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of practical ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Proficiency with basic computer operations is essential
• Current certification in one of the following:
  • Sonography (S), Vascular Sonography (VS), or Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT
  • Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), or OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED
• State licensure as required (if practicing in New Mexico)
• Active BLS from AHA required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of general and specialized ultrasound scans as ordered by providers
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-standard patient outcomes
• Verify patient identification, history, and exam requirements
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of imaging procedures
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
• Deliver patient instructions, support, and reassurance during procedures
