Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Current certification by ARDMS or equivalent (RDMS credential is required)
• Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies as needed
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital or clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced or high-volume settings

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
• Review patient history and ensure necessary documentation and patient consent
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and medical staff to provide accurate and timely results
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports for each patient procedure
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and compliance regulations at all times
• Provide patient education and ensure a comfortable, supportive experience during procedures
