Deliver high-quality patient care as an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general imaging. This contract opportunity allows you to work in a collaborative clinical environment, using your sonography skills to support accurate diagnoses and improve patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
  • Current ARDMS certification in general ultrasound.
  • Demonstrated experience in general sonographic procedures utilizing modern ultrasound equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • CPR/BLS certification (AHA or equivalent).
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage images within electronic health systems.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving clinical priorities and patient needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality general ultrasound imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout.
  • Optimize equipment settings to capture clear, diagnostic-quality images.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to support tailored diagnostic and treatment plans.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, patient privacy standards, and safety regulations.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate records within electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Provide timely and compassionate care while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
