Ultrasonographer Tech | Kings Mountain, North Carolina

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to provide high-quality imaging services, working in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings. This contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver patient care in a Level 3 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center known for a supportive team environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts: 1900-0700 (overnights)
• Generally no on-call required
• Weekend coverage as needed (no set rotation)
• Floating between main hospital and outpatient imaging clinic as required
• Expect to work 75% of holidays

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Vascular ultrasound experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS (no specific anatomy cert required) or ARRT required
• Fast learner with strong multitasking abilities
• Photo ID required (collected during compliance process)
• NC State Licensure not required

Responsibilities:

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound imaging for a wide variety of patients, including those with cancer, stroke, heart attack, respiratory illnesses, and more
• Adapt to a high-volume setting, serving approximately 250-300 patients daily across departments
• Utilize Siemens Sequoia and P2000 ultrasound machines; chart in EPIC EMR
• Support radiology students as they rotate through the department
• Float between hospital and outpatient imaging center as needed to ensure departmental needs are met
• Work effectively within a collaborative, family-oriented department culture
