Ultrasonographer in Kings Mountain, NC

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong vascular imaging skills to make an impact in a dynamic hospital environment. With a focus on patient-centered care, this contract position offers hands-on involvement in both hospital and outpatient settings, supported by a caring and collaborative departmental team.

Schedule:

• 1900-0700 (overnight shift)
• Weekend coverage as needed (no set rotation)
• 75% holiday coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating between hospital and outpatient clinic as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year ultrasound experience (vascular experience required)
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS (no specific anatomy certification required) or ARRT
• Quick learner who thrives in fast-paced settings and can multitask efficiently
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Photo ID required for compliance; NC state licensure not required

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of general and vascular ultrasound imaging studies
• Adapt to varying patient diagnoses, including cancer, stroke, COVID, flu, RSV, and heart attacks
• Float between the main hospital and outpatient imaging center as needed
• Utilize Siemens Sequoia and P2000 ultrasound machines with EPIC EMR documentation
• Maintain a supportive, teamwork-driven departmental environment
