Ultrasonographer Tech | Kings Mountain, North Carolina

Experienced professionals in general ultrasound are invited to contribute their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity requires skill in diagnostic imaging, including vascular ultrasound, and offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art Siemens Sequoia and P2000 technology. Your assignments will take place across both hospital and outpatient clinic settings.

Schedule & Shift Information

• 13-week contract
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Float between hospital and advanced imaging center as required
• Weekend shifts as needed (no set rotation)
• Holiday coverage of approximately 75% of observed holidays
• On-call duties are generally not required

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound/sonography experience, including vascular studies
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARDMS or ARRT registry (no anatomical specialty required)
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Comfortable with fast-paced, multitasking environments
• Strong communication and adaptability for floating between departments
• Ability to work autonomously, supported according to shift needs
• Must provide photo ID during compliance process

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound exams for a variety of patient conditions, including cancer, stroke, and cardiac events
• Operate and maintain Siemens Sequoia and P2000 equipment
• Rotate between adult inpatient departments and outpatient imaging center
• Document all procedures in the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level 3 Trauma and Chest Pain/Stroke Center
• Supervise or interact with radiology students when applicable
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality
