Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum of one year’s experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
  • Proficient in general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements

Schedule:

  • Full-time, flexible shifts may be available depending on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive general ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and optimum image quality
  • Safely position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems to document procedures and findings
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary team to expedite diagnostic and treatment processes
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and report malfunctions promptly
  • Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and patient privacy protocols
