Take your ultrasound expertise to a high-impact environment, working with a reputable regional healthcare provider serving diverse patient populations. This position offers a contract opportunity for an experienced General Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer, supporting both main hospital and outpatient imaging center operations.
Schedule & Shift Details:
- 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend shifts as needed (no set rotation)
- Minimal on-call expectation
- Required to work approximately 75% of holidays
- Floating as needed between main hospital and outpatient advanced imaging clinic
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional Ultrasound experience; vascular experience required
- Credentials: BLS; ARDMS (any specialty), or ARRT
- Facility does not accept first-time travelers
- Strong ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing departmental needs
- Comfortable providing care for patients with cancer, stroke, cardiac conditions, infectious diseases, and respiratory illnesses
- Familiarity with Siemens Sequoia, P2000 ultrasound equipment, and EPIC EMR preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive general and vascular ultrasound examinations efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a Level 3 Trauma and Stroke Center setting
- Support and mentor radiology students as encountered
- Float between departments and facilities as required to support patient care demands
- Maintain clear documentation, strictly following clinical protocols and safety guidelines
