Ultrasonographer - Lincolnton, NC

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Will work weekends as needed; schedule varies with no fixed rotation
• Expect to work 75% of holidays
• Minimal on-call (generally not required)
• 13-week schedule cycle
• Floating may be required between main hospital and outpatient imaging center

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer (first-time travelers not accepted)
• ARDMS or ARRT certification required (no specific anatomy certifications needed)
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with general and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Ability to adapt quickly and multitask in high-volume settings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
• Facility does not require NC state licensure

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive general and vascular ultrasound exams with accuracy and professionalism
• Adapt to diverse patient diagnoses including cancer, stroke, COVID, flu, and cardiac incidents
• Maintain clinical documentation in the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with other imaging professionals and support radiology education efforts
• Float between main hospital and outpatient imaging center as needed
• Ensure all work complies with facility safety and quality protocols
