This role supports a dynamic imaging department known for a positive, supportive culture and a robust patient flow, averaging 250-300 daily visits. You will provide essential imaging services to patients with conditions such as cancer, stroke, cardiac events, and respiratory illnesses.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1900-0700 (overnight shift)
- Weekend shifts as needed (no set rotation)
- Requirement to work 75% of holidays per assignment
- 13-week schedule cycle
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in general ultrasound
- Expertise in vascular sonography required
- BLS certification, plus ARDMS or ARRT credentials (no specific anatomy specialty needed)
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team
- Not open to first-time travelers
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams utilizing Siemens Sequoia and P2000 machines
- Accurately document patient findings in EPIC EMR
- Travel (float) between the main hospital campus and affiliated advanced imaging center as needed
- Collaborate with medical staff and possibly engage with radiology students
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including completion of orientation modules and department-specific onboarding
- Adhere to department dress code (black scrubs) and uphold a culture of respect and inclusivity
