Ultrasonographer - Lincolnton, NC

Step into a vital imaging role where your expertise in Ultrasound (General and Vascular) makes a significant impact on patient care across departments. This contract opportunity involves a 13-week assignment on the 1900-0700 shift, primarily supporting evening and overnight needs. While based in a hospital setting, you will also float to an outpatient imaging center when necessary, experiencing diverse patient populations and clinical cases.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract: 13 weeks
• Shift: 1900-0700
• Weekend shifts as needed; no set rotation
• Holiday Coverage: Participate in 75% of holidays
• Minimal to no on-call requirement

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer (travel experience required)
• Skilled in General and Vascular Ultrasound
• ARDMS or ARRT certified (no specific anatomy certification required); current BLS required
• Adaptable multitasker and fast learner
• Comfortable with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
• Professionalism and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Photo ID required during compliance; NC State Licensure not needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform and document high-quality general and vascular ultrasound studies
• Collaborate with a diverse team across main hospital and advanced imaging outpatient clinic as needed
• Deliver competent imaging support for a range of cases—including stroke, cardiac, oncologic, and infectious diseases
• Interact with radiology students when present, fostering a collaborative learning environment
• Operate Siemens Sequoia and P2000 ultrasound equipment
• Flexible approach to holiday and weekend shifts; wear black scrubs
