Step into a vital imaging role supporting comprehensive patient care as an Ultrasound Technologist. This contract opportunity requires proficiency in general and vascular ultrasound procedures (excluding ABIs and segmental pressures), working in a facility committed to high standards of diagnostic excellence.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, choose 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. or 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- Weekend on-call backup rotation: every 4th weekend
Desired Experience & Credentials:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general and vascular ultrasound preferred
- ARDMS certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
- Comfortable with a fast-paced clinical setting and a variety of patient populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound exams with expert attention to detail and patient comfort
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Accurately document and communicate findings in alignment with facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Maintain and ensure the cleanliness, stocking, and readiness of ultrasound equipment
- Be responsive and adaptable to weekend on-call needs—providing reliable support during backup shifts
