The Ultrasound General Sonographer is responsible for delivering high-quality patient imaging and ensuring every exam meets the precise specifications of ordering physicians. Schedule/Hours:

• Travel position; specific shifts may vary by assignment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated competency with Ultrasound General imaging equipment
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent preferred
• Ability to transfer, position, and assist patients safely for imaging procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection prevention
• Excellent communication skills with patients, radiologists, and healthcare teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate Ultrasound equipment accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Educate, position, and immobilize patients as needed for procedures
• Coordinate exams to maintain efficient and continuous patient care
• Submit images and clinical data for radiological interpretation
• Ensure quality assurance and evaluate image integrity
• Maintain inventory and department supplies following protocol
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines
