A contract opportunity is available for a motivated and skilled Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with experience in general ultrasound procedures. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts
  • Minimum of one year of recent, hands-on experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
  • Strong understanding of ultrasound physics, imaging protocols, and equipment operation
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and collaborating with medical staff
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of general ultrasound procedures, adhering to established safety and quality standards
  • Ensure precise image capture and maintain the integrity of all patient documentation
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain techniques, and answer any questions
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring providers to facilitate timely diagnostic assessments
  • Perform quality control tests on equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
