Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent
  • Current ARDMS or CCI certification in relevant ultrasound specialties
  • Proficient in general ultrasound imaging, with strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology
  • Previous experience as a Sonographer in a hospital or clinical environment
  • Capable of obtaining quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and PACS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality routine and specialized ultrasound procedures following established protocols
  • Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and safety throughout the exam
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting as needed
  • Analyze images, prepare thorough and accurate reports for interpreting physicians
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain compliance with privacy, safety, and infection control standards
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to workflow efficiency by supporting team processes and scheduling

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
