Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position (specific hours may vary per assignment needs)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficient in performing 2-dimensional, color Doppler, and pulse wave Doppler echocardiograms
  • Advanced expertise in stress and dobutamine echocardiograms
  • Deep understanding of non-imaging continuous Doppler for accurate diagnosis
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of echocardiography
  • Experience accurately diagnosing wall motion abnormalities, left ventricular regional wall abnormalities, pericardial and pleural effusion, stenotic and regurgitant lesions, and congenital abnormalities
  • Ability to communicate preliminary reports to physicians promptly
  • Prior travel or acute care experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patient charts to assess pertinent clinical history prior to examinations
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Perform and analyze cardiac ultrasound exams and portable studies; mobilize and use portable equipment as needed
  • Document test results with precision and prepare accurate reports
  • Use relevant devices to create permanent records of examinations
  • Calculate, plot, and analyze control values to guarantee reliable test outcomes
  • Maintain sanitized and orderly testing environments, including cleaning and restocking equipment
