Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program
- Registered with ARDMS or equivalent credentialing organization
- Proficient in general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical imaging or hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with radiologists and care teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing questions or concerns
- Capture, review, and maintain accurate imaging records in patient files
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure precise diagnostic interpretations
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal performance and safety
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, infection control policies, and confidentiality standards
- Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort and privacy throughout each exam

$3,194 - $3,379/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
