An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to support a well-established imaging department specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. This contract position offers consistent weekday hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
- No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
Qualifications:
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS
- Preferred: ARDMS Obstetrics and Gynecology certification
- Demonstrated expertise in OBGYN ultrasound procedures, including nuchal translucency, BPP, growth studies, and dating scans
- Experience with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) preferred
- Sound knowledge of EPIC and Viewpoint systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Number of years of experience is flexible if candidate can demonstrate proficiency with required scans
Responsibilities:
- Perform 8–10 high-quality ultrasound studies per day in a department equipped with two GE scanners; all studies pertain to OBGYN and maternal-fetal assessments
- Collaborate with the clinic manager and coordinate care with the MFM team
- Maintain patient documentation within EPIC and Viewpoint systems
- Adhere to strict imaging protocols and uphold patient safety standards
- No IV starts required and no floating to other service lines
- Participate in department-specific orientation to learn workflow from a senior technologist

$2,580 - $2,720/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
