Step into a dynamic emergency care environment, providing crucial imaging support as a skilled Ultrasound Technologist. In this role, you will be part of a new, state-of-the-art free-standing emergency department with modern imaging resources, including 24/7 Ultrasound, CT, and X-ray services. You’ll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exemplary care to patients in an ED setting.
Schedule:
- Night shift, supporting ultrasound needs across multiple FSED locations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ ultrasound experience, preferably in a General/ED setting
- Certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Willingness and capability to perform duties outside standard imaging tasks, such as taking vital signs, serving as a sitter, conducting EKGs, assisting with patient transport, and rooming patients
- Commitment to teamwork and assisting colleagues from other specialties and modalities
- Epic EMR experience preferred; training provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality, general ultrasound studies for ED patients
- Contribute to patient flow by assisting with triage, vital signs, and line/lab placement
- Offer support in patient transport and with other diagnostic areas as needed
- Float between facilities for night shift ultrasound coverage, ensuring continuity of care
- Participate in orientation and adhere to all policies and procedures
