Step into a vital role supporting obstetric care with your expertise in general ultrasound and high-risk OB/GYN imaging. This is a contract opportunity designed for a skilled Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer eager to contribute to a dynamic clinical team in a leading healthcare setting.
Schedule:
- 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in OB/GYN required
- BLS certification required
- Fetal Echo certification preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in high-risk OB/GYN ultrasounds
- Strong experience in fetal biometry, fetal anatomy, comprehensive fetal cardiac evaluation, and umbilical Dopplers
- Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
Key Duties:
- Perform detailed ultrasound examinations focused on high-risk pregnancies
- Accurately assess fetal anatomy, growth patterns, and cardiac structure/function
- Utilize advanced ultrasound modalities for umbilical Doppler studies as needed
- Document all findings meticulously and communicate results to the healthcare team
- Maintain equipment and ensure exam settings align with clinical protocols
- Adhere to all relevant safety and privacy regulations
- Engage with patients attentively, providing compassionate care and clear instructions throughout the procedure
