Schedule:

• Rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
• Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Thursday and Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend rotation requirements will be discussed with the manager during the final interview, depending on current needs
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays

Requirements:

• Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging required
• Credentialed as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, with current certification (ARDMS or equivalent)
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a similar clinical setting
• Ability to adapt to floating between different facilities as needed, including supporting night shift needs at multiple sites
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Competence in producing high-quality images and collaborating with physicians for optimal patient care

Responsibilities include:

• Performing high-quality general ultrasound examinations as ordered by providers
• Completing accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout exams
• Interpreting and communicating findings to collaborating clinicians as appropriate
• Rotating across facilities to provide evening and overnight ultrasound coverage, ensuring seamless patient flow
• Maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment per protocols
