An opportunity is available for an experienced Sonographer to contribute essential imaging services within a clinical setting. Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent required)
• Competence in performing a wide range of general ultrasound examinations
• Up-to-date knowledge of imaging protocols and equipment
• Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound process

Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians
• Prepare, position, and inform patients for examinations while maintaining a compassionate approach
• Operate ultrasound machines and related equipment
• Analyze images, ensuring technical quality and troubleshooting as necessary
• Document findings accurately in patient records and communicate pertinent information to medical staff
• Maintain equipment and ensure exam rooms are in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exemplary patient care
