Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
• First shift hours
• Includes some weekdays and every other weekend

Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification or equivalent required
• Proven experience performing general ultrasound studies in a clinical or hospital setting
• Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a collaborative team
• Adaptability to a fast-paced imaging department and varying clinical scenarios

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate ultrasound equipment, maintaining optimal imaging quality and equipment integrity
• Analyze images, recognizing normal and abnormal findings, and provide documentation for interpreting physicians
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure accurate results and outstanding patient care
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety, infection control, and privacy standards
• Participate in scheduled shifts that include weekdays and every other weekend, demonstrating flexibility and reliability
