Join a modern free-standing emergency department as an Ultrasound Technologist, providing essential imaging services within a collaborative, high-quality care environment. This position supports a 10-bed ED offering 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services, including at two facilities with the latest technology and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound imaging specifically for emergency department patients
  • Assist with general vitals, EKGs, patient rooming, and sitter duties when not performing ultrasound tasks
  • Support transporting and moving patients, and assist other diagnostic modalities as needed
  • Provide nighttime ultrasound support across multiple free-standing emergency facilities
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across specialties
  • Utilize advanced technology platforms including EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, Philips iSite PACS, Siemens Sequoia ultrasound units, and Trophon sterilization systems

Qualifications:

  • Current certification through ARDMS or ARRT (S) required
  • Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome
  • BLS certification mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to perform general ultrasound in an emergency setting
  • Willingness to learn and assist with additional modalities like vitals taking, EKGs, and patient observation
