Ultrasonographer in Morrisville, NC

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general and MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) imaging. This contract position offers a structured schedule with four 10-hour shifts each week, Monday through Thursday—designed to provide work-life balance and consistent hours.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday

Qualifications:

• Registered in Ultrasound Technology with proven clinical experience
• Prior experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound required
• Fetal Echo Certification required
• Proficient in performing and interpreting general ultrasound studies
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical settings

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general and specialized MFM imaging, adhering to best clinical practices
• Administer and interpret fetal echo studies, ensuring accuracy and clear documentation
• Support physicians by delivering timely and detailed imaging results
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment to meet safety and cleanliness standards
• Educate and reassure patients regarding imaging procedures and address any questions or concerns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
• Keep thorough and accurate patient records consistent with healthcare regulations
