Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with ARDMS or equivalent credential
  • Competency in general ultrasound imaging protocols and procedures
  • 1+ year of recent ultrasound experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • A thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to quickly adapt to new environments and workflows

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general ultrasound studies as ordered by medical staff
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment
  • Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to interpret and communicate findings
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures
  • Ensure imaging areas comply with safety, quality, and privacy standards
