Seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist with a strong background in both obstetric and general ultrasound to provide diagnostic imaging services in a demanding Level 1 trauma center environment. This position requires a highly skilled professional who is adept at managing a high patient volume while maintaining accuracy and compassion in patient care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency with general and OB ultrasound examinations
  • ARDMS certification required
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital or trauma center setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple cases throughout a shift
  • Collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
  • Thorough knowledge of safe imaging practices and familiarity with current ultrasound equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies, following physician orders
  • Deliver high-quality, diagnostic images to assist radiologists and clinicians in patient care planning
  • Effectively handle urgent and emergent imaging cases typical of a trauma environment
  • Accurately document imaging studies and maintain patient records in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safe, continuous operation
  • Provide a reassuring and professional presence to all patients, adapting to unique needs and acute situations as required
