Deliver exceptional patient care using advanced ultrasound imaging techniques in a dynamic healthcare setting. This full-time contract role is designed for an experienced sonographer seeking a consistent schedule and a professional environment.

Schedule:

  • 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
  • No weekend shifts required
  • No on-call duties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on ultrasound scanning experience preferred
  • Proficiency with computer systems to support imaging documentation and workflow
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • At least one of the following certifications or licenses:
    • Sonography (S) by ARRT
    • Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
    • Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
    • Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
    • Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
    • Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
    • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
    • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
    • Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) by MIRTP NMED
  • State licensure required if applicable

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and specialty ultrasound procedures as ordered, ensuring accurate image acquisition
  • Safely operate ultrasound equipment and adhere to facility protocols
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records in electronic health systems
  • Support patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Demonstrate effective communication and professional conduct at all times
