Ultrasonographer Tech | Owego, New York

Schedule:

• 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
• Full-time hours (three 12-hour shifts weekly)
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency essential
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• At least one of the following credentials is required:
  • Sonography (S) by ARRT
  • Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
  • Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • OB/GYN (OB) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED
  • State licensure as required

Responsibilities:

• Perform general and specialized ultrasound procedures across multiple body systems
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout exams
• Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and calibration
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic information
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient medical records in accordance with facility protocols
