Deliver exceptional patient care using advanced ultrasound imaging techniques in a dynamic healthcare setting. This full-time contract role is designed for an experienced sonographer seeking a consistent schedule and a professional environment.
Schedule:
- 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
- No weekend shifts required
- No on-call duties
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on ultrasound scanning experience preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems to support imaging documentation and workflow
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- At least one of the following certifications or licenses:
- Sonography (S) by ARRT
- Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
- Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
- Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
- Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
- Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
- Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) by MIRTP NMED
- State licensure required if applicable
Responsibilities:
- Perform general and specialty ultrasound procedures as ordered, ensuring accurate image acquisition
- Safely operate ultrasound equipment and adhere to facility protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to maintain high standards of patient care
- Maintain detailed documentation and records in electronic health systems
- Support patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Demonstrate effective communication and professional conduct at all times
