Ultrasonographer - Pompano Beach, FL

Step into an important diagnostic role, utilizing your expertise as an Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services and compassionate patient care. This essential position is available for a 13-week contract and focuses on general ultrasound procedures in a supportive clinical environment.

Schedule options:

• Five 8-hour shifts (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
• Four 10-hour shifts per week, Wednesday off, with start times of 6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications:

• Active ARDMS certification in Ultrasound Technology
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 2 years of recent experience performing general ultrasound exams
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced hospital or clinic settings
• Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations and procedures following clinical protocols and physician orders
• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and safety throughout procedures
• Accurately capture and label high-quality diagnostic images for physician review
• Maintain equipment, manage imaging records, and practice strict infection control standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide compassionate care, answering questions and easing patient concerns during exams

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
