Ultrasonographer in Pompano Beach, FL

Take on an impactful role utilizing your expertise as an Ultrasound Technologist focusing on general imaging and breast sonography. This contract opportunity runs for 12 weeks with the potential to extend. The position specifically seeks professionals skilled in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, prioritizing the highest standards in patient care and imaging quality.

Please note: Permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties are not eligible for this travel assignment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
• Third Saturday each month: 8:00am – 12:00pm
• No on-call requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Active ARDMS certification with a specialty in breast imaging (ARDMS - BR)
• Proven experience in general ultrasound and breast sonography
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high accuracy in imaging
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures for general and breast imaging
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver accurate results
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout each procedure
• Ensure proper care and operation of ultrasound equipment
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records

$2,554 - $2,693/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
