This opportunity offers the chance to work as an Ultrasound Technologist splitting time between two prestigious hospitals. The position involves performing a variety of ultrasound exams using advanced imaging equipment and working collaboratively with radiologists and clinical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform head and neck ultrasound exams following detailed protocols at one hospital, with potential involvement in ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and operating room guidance.
- Conduct routine general ultrasound exams at the second hospital, including specialized studies like transplanted liver and kidney imaging, DVT exams of upper and lower extremities, and pediatric ultrasounds when applicable.
- Operate Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10 ultrasound machines efficiently and maintain high-quality imaging standards.
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer with expertise in general ultrasound imaging.
- Familiarity with head and neck ultrasound protocols and ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Experience or comfort performing vascular exams, including DVT studies.
- Pediatric ultrasound experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team environment.
Location: This role is based in Quincy, MA, and involves working at two nearby hospitals. Quincy is a vibrant community offering a mix of urban and coastal living with easy access to Boston. Schedule:
- Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Massachusetts General Hospital
- Monday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Mass Eye & Ear
- Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Mass Eye & Ear
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Massachusetts General Hospital
