Key Qualifications:
- Current credentialing as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent preferred)
- At least one year of recent experience in general ultrasound imaging
- Skilled in performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to different clinical settings and protocols
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams for accurate interpretation and patient care
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of patients throughout exams
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow department procedures
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any concerns promptly
- Uphold established infection control and safety standards
