This travel assignment in the Sonography Department provides the chance to immerse yourself in an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab, renowned for high standards in both general and vascular ultrasound imaging. Collaborating with a skilled team, you’ll benefit from diverse workplace practices and leadership models that will amplify your resume and expertise. Schedule/Hours

  • Participation in an equitable on-call rotation (one weekday evening every other week; one weekend every fifth week)
  • Occasional coverage at outpatient clinics and outreach centers

Qualifications

  • ARDMS certification required
  • Independent proficiency with all vascular ultrasound studies (see below)
  • Preferred: RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification

Desired Experience

  • Demonstrable competency in:
    • Upper/lower extremity venous & arterial duplex studies
    • Carotid duplex
    • Bypass graft, mesenteric artery, and renal artery duplex
    • Vein mapping and fistula flow studies
    • Venous reflux analysis
  • Experience in interventional radiology (IR) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform general and vascular ultrasound imaging according to IAC-accredited lab standards
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 service coverage
  • Provide sonography services across varied clinical settings including hospitals and clinics
