We are seeking a skilled professional for a contract role as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer. You will work an afternoon shift from 12:30 pm to 10:00 pm, supporting patient care through high-quality imaging in an environment that values professionalism and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of ultrasound exams, including general, obstetric, and vascular studies, ensuring accuracy and high-quality images.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to interpret and deliver imaging results that aid in patient diagnosis and care planning.
• Maintain equipment to ensure optimal function, and adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.
• Address patient questions or concerns, offering clear explanations and compassionate care throughout each interaction.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent).
• Proven experience in general, OB, and vascular ultrasound modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team collaboration.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
