An opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in both general and OB ultrasound procedures within a dynamic, high-volume environment. This position requires expertise in operating as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a level 1 trauma center, where adaptability and accuracy are essential.
Qualifications:
- Active ARDMS certification required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general and obstetric (OB) ultrasound techniques.
- Prior experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital or trauma center environment.
- Ability to manage a consistently high patient volume while maintaining precise imaging quality.
- Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams and communicating effectively.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift to be determined based on department needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for general and OB imaging as ordered by physicians.
- Accurately document findings and collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians regarding results.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with all protocols and infection control policies.
- Manage workflow efficiently, prioritizing urgency as appropriate within a level 1 trauma setting.
- Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients during procedures.
