Seeking an experienced and efficient Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to provide top-tier patient care in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures, specializing in both obstetric and general exams
- Deliver accurate and timely studies to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment planning
- Handle a consistently high patient volume with professionalism and composure
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards
- Accurately document procedures and findings, maintaining patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patient families, providing education and reassurance
Qualifications:
- Certification by ARDMS is required
- Demonstrated experience in both OB and general ultrasound imaging
- Prior experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in a trauma or acute care center
- Comfortable managing urgent cases and adapting to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and supportively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Flexibility for shift assignment (final schedule to be determined)
