Seeking a skilled and experienced ultrasound professional adept at performing both general and OB sonography in a dynamic environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a seasoned tech, preferably someone comfortable in a fast-paced, high-demand setting such as a level 1 trauma center.
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARDMS certification required
- Demonstrated expertise in both OB and general ultrasound imaging
- Proven ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure
- Previous experience in a trauma center or similar acute care setting highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and patients
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic OB and general ultrasound examinations with accuracy and professionalism
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to provide timely, high-quality imaging services
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality and proper documentation
- Prioritize and coordinate imaging procedures within a busy, rapidly changing environment
- Uphold all hospital policies, procedures, and standards for imaging, safety, and patient care
- Accurately document findings and communicate results to the appropriate care team members
