A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer skilled in general and vascular ultrasound imaging. This contract position, located in Shelby, NC, offers the chance to work within a Level 3 Trauma hospital with 241 licensed beds, serving a diverse patient population including cancer, stroke, heart attack, and respiratory illness cases.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general and vascular ultrasound imaging using Siemens Sequoia and P2000 systems.
- Float between the main hospital and outpatient imaging center as needed.
- Manage an average patient load of 250-300 daily across departments.
- Maintain compliance with departmental protocols, including identification procedures.
- Participate in orientation and departmental training lasting 3 days in total.
- Work night shift hours from 1900 to 0700, with weekends as needed and approximately 75% holiday coverage.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technology experience, including vascular ultrasound.
- Valid BLS certification; ARDMS or ARRT certification required (no specific anatomy cert needed).
- NC State licensure is not mandatory.
- Able to multitask efficiently and quickly adapt to changing duties.
- No first-time travelers; candidates must have prior clinical experience.
Schedule:
- Night shifts: 1900-0700.
- Weekend work as needed, without fixed rotation.
- Holiday coverage at 75%.
- No regular on-call requirements.
