We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a contract opportunity where you will be an integral part of a dedicated diagnostic imaging team. This role requires proficiency in utilizing ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent
- Current registration by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) required
- Demonstrated experience performing general ultrasound imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to ultrasound imaging
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and imaging department protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in medical records systems
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and promptly report issues
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Adhere strictly to all safety and infection control protocols
