A well-established healthcare setting is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in general ultrasound imaging to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you'll play an important part in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services alongside a multi-disciplinary care team.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven proficiency in general ultrasound techniques and procedures.
  • Registered or registry-eligible as an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent preferred).
  • Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and sonographic physics.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaborating with providers.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
  • Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations as ordered by providers, capturing quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for each procedure, explaining the process and addressing any questions.
  • Ensure exam rooms and imaging equipment are clean, stocked, and properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • Document and report findings accurately within the electronic health record.
  • Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

$2,113 - $2,235/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
